Hey, I'm an Indie Gamedev. My main profile is on Game Jolt, you can check me out here.
Quite a few years ago I found out about a program called Scratch. A friend told me about it, and at the time I hadn't ever considered game development, it just never occurred to me that normal people could make their own games.
So I downloaded Scratch 1.4 and started experimenting with it, over time I did a bit of research and found out how to make a basic Five Nights at Freddy's fan-game. At the time I was obsessed with FNaF and felt like this was my chance to get some more out of it.
Fast forward over 4 years from then, I had made my share of fan-games and a few original ones I was proud of too. I learnt how to code, how games worked and how much that I loved making them.
Around then I was getting fed up with the limitations of Scratch, so I moved on to a program called Clickteam Fusion 2.5, and that is where I remain today. Learning how to use it efficiently and making lots of games with it.
